IWC Breed Club Partnership with Embark Updates

I am pleased to announce that the IWC has a new Breed Club Partnership Agreement with Embark.

Yes this is indeed our second such agreement. Over the past year or so, Embark restructured their partnership agreements and has offered us this new partnership agreement to replace our initial agreement with them.

Please read the attached agreement, I will just list a few highlights below:

Embark will periodically produce a "state of the breed" genetic health report for our breed using data from Windsprites in their database.

Embark will support IWC events, and may donate an "Embark for Breeders" test kit for the raffle.

Embark may invite us to participate in research to support the development of new tests, and also ask us to identify new possible areas of research.

We will have a dedicated account manager who will (among other things) fast-track our requests for information such as the results of DNA parentage verification tests.

The largest benefit is that IWC members will receive a substantial overall discount for any Embark for Breeders test kit purchased
